Tile Tales
Over two seasons, the artist engaged in a creative exploration of ceramics, a medium both new and unfamiliar. The process extended beyond the physical act of making, revealing the often hidden, messy layers of creation. Each tile became a dual space—one side exploring the material itself, the other acting as an evolving archive. Written reflections accompanied this journey, capturing everything from the tactile experience of handling clay to the unpredictable outcomes of firing. These accounts did not aim to provide a definitive narrative but instead offered glimpses into the artist’s process: questions that arose, moments of humor, and instances of vulnerability that shaped the work as much as the clay itself.
