Subtle Realities
Subtle Realities
Handbound Artist's Book
2025

Subtle Realities is an artist book and thesis that accompanies my use of drawing as a research methodology. The visual work investigates relational experience through gesture, attention, and embodied perception, while the writing examines the forces that inform, support, and complicate the act of making. Together, they explore how memory, relationality, and cultural contexts shape the conditions of artistic production. The book positions drawing as a method of inquiry. One that allows subtle, layered realities to surface through the interplay of reflection, process, and lived experience.
