To You is a one-person short film created during the pandemic, exploring the art of storytelling within a brief time frame. Through an individual take on time travel, the film reflects on how narratives unfold when time itself becomes fluid. Inspired by Maya Deren’s experimental techniques in At Land (1944), which uses surreal, dream-like sequences to explore dislocation and continuity, To You employs a similar visual language to capture the disorienting, layered nature of its subject.
